Team 8-3 students were busy learning the difference between Loyalists and Patriots. As they visited various stations, they uncovered information about life in the colonies before the Revolutionary War. Would they find the spy in the group? Whose side would they take?

Students from Mrs. Green's speech class visited Inspiration Elementary and spent time reading to students. Not only does this give our Bison students the opportunity to practice their reading, but gives young learners the chance to be read to! We are thrilled we can partner with our neighbors to support all of our learners in the community.

BRMS honored Orange Shirt Day to stand in solidarity with all children and families who were, and continue to be, impacted by forced cultural assimilation at Residential Indian Boarding Schools.
Our Očéti Šakówiŋ Owáuŋspe students created powerful posters to share facts and encourage community involvement on September 30th. In true Ben Reifel style, staff proudly showed up to support and uplift this important day of remembrance and awareness.
We also want to acknowledge a group of staff members not pictured also participated by wearing orange, showing their commitment to this day of reflection and support.
Thursday, students in the CLC program completed their 2-week HuntSAFE course. Thank you, Vince, and the HuntSAFE team for another year with BRMS!

Fall is under way and so is team 7-2's tradition of making cards for local community members! We love seeing all the ways they give back.
The BRMS Cross Country Team ran at the Nike Heartland Meet on Saturday. They ran well as a team and had some great individual performances! Lila Knutson took 2nd place in field of 236 runners! Divine Ries placed 7th out of 275 runners. Our girls team placed 5th as team. Way to go Bison XC!
