Looking for a safe, engaging after-school option for your middle schooler? The Community Learning Centers are launching afterschool programs at three middle schools and registration is OPEN!
Middle School Program Locations:
📍 George McGovern Middle School (with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire)
📍 Ben Reifel Middle School (with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire)
📍 Whittier Middle School (with Volunteers of America, Dakotas)
This is a perfect opportunity for all middle school families, especially those with incoming sixth graders navigating a new routine.
These on-site programs offer:
+ Clubs and activities led by teachers and community groups
+ Homework help
+ Daily snacks
+ Interest options like STEM, cooking, eSports, music and more!
+ Flexible attendance, you chose what works in your schedule!
Affordable option for families!
+ Just $30 per week for unlimited activities and supervision
+ Free for qualifying families (including Free/Reduced)
+ Completely FREE at George McGovern, thanks to grant funding!
+ One-time $20 processing fee per child (assistance available)
Important notes:
+ Students must attend one of the three schools to join
+ If your student attends a specialized school but one of these is your home attendance center, the student is eligible to attend, but transportation is not provided.
